Donate to Support the Fair

Purdue University Fort Wayne (Purdue FW) is the host and coordinating organization for the Northeast Indiana Regional Science and Engineering Fair, a 66 year tradition. Sponsors to the Regional Fair are vital as they allow us to reward and recognize students. We invite you to partner with us as we recognize and reward more than 150 students from area schools at the Regional Fair on Saturday, February 24, 2024.

We invite your sponsorship of the Fair in general or as a special award sponsor (or both!). The fair is funded through donations to Purdue FW, a 501(c3), non-profit organization.

There are two ways you can support the Fair:

1) General Fair Sponsorships pay for the ongoing expenses required to coordinate the Regional Fair program from August through May. During this ten month time period, the Fair staff and committee provide support to schools including:

• School communications through Email updates and resources the Regional Fair website.
• Student support through the review of junior and senior level student project paperwork by Purdue FW faculty.
• Ongoing teacher support as Purdue FW offers personal help and guidance through the Regional Fair process.
• School visits to help teachers and administrators understand the Regional Fair guidelines.
• Staff liaisons to the State Science and Engineering Fair and periodically the International Fair.
• Event materials and hospitality, including lunch and printed materials for volunteers who donate many hours of service at the Regional Fair, recognition ribbons for all participating students, placement pins for winners, and assistance provided to students who advance to the next level of competition.

Visionary	$1500 and above
Innovator	$900 to $1499
Leader	$300 to $899
Patron	any amount up to $300

2) Special Award Sponsorships involve the recognition of students for achievements based on criteria of the sponsor's choice. The diversity these awards provide allows more students to receive recognition for their work. These awards generate enthusiasm as students interact with the judges who represent local organizations focusing on specific fields of study. Purdue FW works closely with Special Award sponsors to make certain that each organization’s award is handled to their satisfaction.
