Sponsor a Special Award

Special Award Sponsorships involve the recognition of students for achievements based on criteria of the sponsor's choice. The diversity these awards provide allows more students to receive recognition for their work. These awards generate enthusiasm as students interact with the judges who represent local organizations focusing on specific fields of study. IPFW works closely with Special Award sponsors to make certain that each organization’s award is handled to their satisfaction.

Returning Sponsors

You will receive a mailing in late December that includes a 2018 Donor Response Form and a record of your 2017 award. Please complete the 2018 Donor Response Form and write on the 2017 award record any changes you wish to make. Volunteer Policy

IPFW is committed to providing a safe environment for work, study and also outreach and to upholding the integrity of the University and our partners. To that end, anyone who has agreed to volunteer is asked to participate in the Purdue volunteer process prior to volunteer service as IPFW is a regional campus of Purdue University.

All Volunteers who are NOT current IPFW faculty, staff, or students will be screened against both the national and state Sex and Violent Offender Registry. Any individual listed on a registry that is part of the University’s Sex and Violent Offender Registry Check or who has been convicted of an offense for which he or she must register as a sex or violent offender may not serve as a Volunteer. Volunteers must show a valid ID (drivers license is acceptable) at check-in table.

The provisions of the Volunteer Policy include the submission of a signed Volunteer Registration Form and Volunteer Agreement Form that explains IPFW policies.

If you feel that you cannot sign the agreement or would rather not provide the personal information required for these procedures, than please inform Matthew as soon as possible as you will be unable to volunteer for this event.

We thank you so much in advance for your extra time and cooperation in helping us adhere to the Purdue IPFW policy that will be another step toward creating the safest possible environment for students and you at IPFW outreach events.

These two forms and instructions for submitting them will be on the final confirmation page. To view forms now go to https://www.ipfw.edu/offices/hr-oie/policies-procedures/volunteers.html under the Forms tab.
