TESTING LINKS FOR NEW REGIONAL JUNIOR DIVISION FORMS
-
The new junior division forms are ready to be tested on your computer. Given the many versions of Adobe Acrobat in use, we want to make sure school computers are able to open, complete, and save these forms before we put them on the website. These forms replace the ISEF forms for grades 6-8. These forms allow the students to type in their info and SAVE the file! (When saving, change the file name to prevent overwriting. For students it will probably be easiest for them to rename it using their own name as the file name.)
-
When opening the file, if your Adobe version gives you the option, check the HIGHLIGHT FIELDS BOX and this will show all of the fields that it will tab to.
-
We have not changed the rules but the forms have been condensed and simplified. The Checklist is still required for all pre-review projects and for exempt students that advance to the regional fair. (We recommend you also have your exempt students fill it out and get it signed before they begin their project. In the event they advance, their form will then have proper signatures and dating. It would not need to be mailed unless they advance.)
-
We have included a research plan guide with the checklist. If the teacher requires a written research plan, then this form will not be needed. If the teacher prefers, the student completes this form in lieu of a separate research plan.
-
The paperwork will still be submitted as hard copy for pre-review.
