Over the course of the week, the class will fabricate a small wobbler air motor from small pieces of stock that has been pre-cut. They will use a mixture of manual methods and cnc machines. We will have multiple guest speakers through out the week from the college and local industry. We will test the function of their air motor on speed and will have them run a small water pump. At the end of the week, students will earn a certificate and will be allowed to give their parents a tour of the shop with the instructors on hand to answer any questions. This is a hands on class. Students will get dirty and will leave with something in hand and a feeling of satisfaction that they built something on their own from scratch!
